What does it mean to say you don’t have time to test? It’s like saying I only have time to do a shitty job. Why do you allow this? You, the developers, are responsible for writing good-quality code. In a healthy organisation, you should also be responsible for how much you can get done in a given period of time.

If managers want you to work faster, you can sit down with them, do a retrospective, and see how they can help you. The way you currently work looks like a vicious circle: we don’t have time -> we cut corners -> we have bugs -> we don’t have time… The only way to fix it is to find the real root cause of those problems to break the vicious cycle.
