Hi, it seems the Scrum Master role is going away.
The closest role to it is Project Manager.
What are the extra responsibilities a Scrum Master needs to take up for a Project Manager role?
What tools and software’s one needs to know?
My answer#
I believe the most significant difference is that in Scrum, there isn’t a predefined project. The final solution is uncertain. You have a vision and some ideas, but since what you are trying to achieve is unknown, you must approach it differently than in projects where the desired outcome is clear from the start. The Scrum Master plays a crucial role in continually emphasizing the importance of empiricism, fostering an experimental culture, and encouraging feedback while adapting the road toward the goal. In contrast, project management is more effective for addressing problems that are better understood - those that are complicated yet more predictable.
